I was raised in the mountains (outside of Lake Tahoe) and ventured to the ocean (Santa Cruz) before finding my new home in Fort Collins. I live near Horsetooth reservoir and love spending time with my niece and nephew. I co-own a woodworking company, making furniture and wall decor. Small business is no joke, and I'm learning so much about myself!

I love my job because as teachers we get to interact with some of the most genuine humans. Learning is never done, and children always do the best job of reminding us all to communicate, cooperate, and leave people and places better than we found them.
I fell in love with writing before I fell in love with books. I appreciate the minds of Margaret Atwood or Aldous Huxley. I love poetry, Thoreau, and Emerson. I'll never say no to sharing the story of Laura Ingalls Wilder or reading my class a copy of Charlotte's Web or The BFG.
I love children, most of all my niece, nephew, and godbabies. So I spend a lot of time running them back and forth from the park or farmer's market. I love yoga, meal prepping, cleaning, and hiking up to the tops of mountains.
I love the community, the history, the setting, and the building itself!
