At Timnath Elementary, we strive to ensure every student feels safe, loved, and supported; challenged to grow and succeed; and valued for who they are. In our joyful, inclusive community, students learn, collaborate, and thrive as confident, curious Timnath Cubs.

Log into Parent Vue at 4:00pm on July 31st to view teacher assignments for the 2026-2027 school year.

 

Summer Hours:

May 28 - June 8: Office manager (ahurley@psdschools.org), assistant principal (erankin@psdschools.org), and principal (jdrager@psdschools.org) available by appointment from 7:15-3:15 - available via email only. 

June 1 - 18: Principal available by appointment (jdrager@psdschools.org).

June 18 - July 20: Office Closed

July 21 - July 31: Office staff available by appointment (see contact information above)

August 3 - 18: Office open from 7:15-3:15

August 17: Ice Cream Social, Supply Drop-Off, & Meet-the-Teacher Event at Timnath 4:00-5:00PM

August 19: First day of school for 1st-5th graders (kindergarteners sign up for intake conferences)

August 20: Kindergarten parents notified of class placement

August 21: First day of school for all kindergarten students

Timnath School has been providing excellent educational experiences in the Timnath area for over 100 years. We are a neighborhood school that follows the Colorado Academic Standards, and we are committed to providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience. In addition to providing strong instruction in the core content areas of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, we also value and provide instruction in music, art, PE, technology, health, and social/emotional learning. We have staffing and support systems in place to meet a wide range of student needs including gifted and talented, English language development, Special Education, literacy intervention, math intervention, speech services, occupational therapy, counseling, and mental health support needs.
